Whilst the overall regeneration of Barking Riverside remains a success, we know that many households, many of which live in social housing, are economically inactive. Therefore, we have specifically focused our attention to developing projects and activities that benefit two key groups: Children and young people and families.
Our project meets the needs of our residents that is families and young people who are isolated and lonely. Our activities provide a space for families and young people to come together and build relationship and be able to interact with one another, engage in different activities that will reduce isolation and loneliness. Benefit to the borough.
Through our activities residents will be able to meet and Greet during the projects as they will be engaging in the project which is the best way to share ideas with each other coming together which later makes them feel belonging and not left out.
Our project creates an opportunity for locals’ residents from different culture, religion, gender to come together in safe environment, and celebrate our diversity and give us all the equal opportunity. the achievement of a work environment in which all individuals are treated fairly and respectfully, have equal access to opportunities and resources, and can contribute fully to the organization's success.
