The organisation has been delivering youth services in the borough of Barking and Dagenham since 2015, and was established in 2010, as well as engaging in Barking and Dagenham the organisation has run multiple services across London and Essex.

RDF has a basketball academy for 5+ and has pathways for beginners to athletes that compete and represent England, the organisation often competes across the UK and internationally, taking children abroad to experience different cultures and the sport as a whole.

During the half term's, RDF run's daily sports camps, tournaments and events to keep children engaged and doing something positive with their time. The organisation run's workshops and regular 1-1 and small group mentoring sessions, to help develop a positive mindset and to educate young people on several topics, that include their ambitions and behaviour patterns.

RDF has become identified for developing young people's social skills and providing work experience opportunities for young people to gain and develop transferable skills that they can use in working environments.
